ASSOCIATIONS

Reserve Officers Association, Mahoning County Chapter, will meet Thursday at The Manor restaurant, Route 46 and Kirk Road in Austintown. Active and retired reserve officers from the area are invited to attend. Air Force Reserve Col. (retired) Judge Robert Milich will be the guest speaker. His topic will be the Veterans Court process being initiated. Walter M. Duzzny, retired ASAR, will preside.

BOOSTERS

Girard High School Athletic Boosters will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the high school cafeteria.

CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1963 will meet for lunch at noon Wednesday at The Elmton in Struthers. Guests are welcome.

South High School Class of 1953 will have a monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Johnny’s on Market Street in Boardman. Plans for this year’s Christmas party will be made. All classmates are welcome.

CLUBS

Chapter CE of PEO Sisterhood will meet at noon Wednesday at A La Cart in Canfield for lunch and a business meeting. The program, “T 4-2 Dolls,” will be presented, and the guest speaker is Paula Farcas. Hostesses will be Dee Snyder and Laura Reed.

LEAGUES

The Wilmington Township, Mercer County Civic League invites the public to its community meeting at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19 to talk about “Emergency Preparedness.” The speakers will be Darlene Sansone of the Lawrence County Cooperative Extension and Dick Wilson, supervisor, Wilmington Township, Mercer County. The meeting will focus on ways to help each other during emergencies, especially senior citizens. Refreshments will follow the meeting.
