Boardman and Poland are reminded about natural-gas program

Residents and businesses in Poland and Boardman are reminded to look for a letter about Oct. 22 to explain the new natural-gas aggregation program.

Vectren Source has replaced IGS Energy as the supplier. The new rate is $5.98 mcf per month from November to October 2011.

Those who have not chosen a supplier will receive an opt-out letter from Vectren Source. They will be automatically included unless they opt out during a 21-day period as stated in the letter.

To enroll in the Vectren program, call Vectren Source at 1-800-608-8510. An option is to return the card that comes with the notification letter. You can enroll online at www.getnaturalgas.com/polandvillage or www.getnaturalgas.com/boardman using the “Special Offer ID” shown in the letter.
