Adoptable animals coming to Petco

Local rescue groups will be bringing adoptable animals to Petco, 317 Boardman-Poland Road, for the Halloween Adoption Spook-tacular on Saturday and Sunday.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days there will be costume contests for children and pets. Dave Betras will judge the contests.

There will also be prizes, candy, food, pinatas, and pumpkin and face painting. Members of the Red Cross, the fire department, the Learning Center and K-9 units will be in attendance.
