“Who Will Wipe My Tears Away?”, a gospel play by local author Earline Gilford-Weaver at No Greater Love Christian Center, 3121 Market St., Youngstown. Auditions will be at 6 p.m. Saturday. Available roles: doctor, pastor, four people in crowd, four saints, church members, aunt, mother, counselor, mother’s boyfriend, friend, husband. Also need singers, directors, stage crew and musicians. Donations of furniture and sponsors also are needed. Performances: July of 2011. “Crumbs From the Table of Joy,SDRq Weathervane Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane Lane, Akron. Auditions are 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 23 and 24. SINGERS

Salem Youth Chorus is accepting auditions for the 2010-11 season. Teens 14-19 are eligible. Weekly rehearsals will take place alternately in Boardman and Salem. They have sung in Williamsburg, Va., Washington, D.C., New York City and cathedrals in Ireland, Wales and England. This is an accelerated, “honors”-level ensemble and is great for those considering a career in music as a teacher or performer. Lemodeln Model and Talent Agency, 7536 Market St., Boardman, will have auditions Friday. Prescreening will be at 1 p.m., and auditions are from 2 to 4 p.m. Looking for women 27 to 47 years old. Bring a current picture and your sizes. This is a paying job. Video will be shot in Youngstown. Must be available 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday if selected. Call 330-758-4417.
