Shooting investigated

YOUNGSTOWN

City police are investigating the shooting of a man found at a West Side store.

The man, whose identity wasn’t released, was found with a gunshot wound to the leg about 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Wonder Bread store on Mahoning Avenue.

Police said he was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

Fire in Warren

Firefighters are investigating a Tuesday evening blaze at 565 Fairfield Avenue NE.

No one was injured in the fire that broke out about 8 p.m. No damage estimate was available Tuesday.
