BOARDMAN

Ziare Morrison and Matt Horvatich scored for Boardman. Horvatich’s goal came after a corner kick with 1:26 remaining. Goalkeeper Chris Tokarsky made two saves for the Spartans (6-2, 3-2 Federal League). For the Vikings, Marcus Harrigan scored and Ian Murphy made three saves.

Dan Hunt and Kevin Krumpak scored for Poland, while Alex Magni had eight saves. Brian Jackson had Beaver Local’s goal and Andrew Rice had seven saves.

Chris McClearn had a goal and an assist, while Anthony Russo and Scott Heinemann also scored and Brad Fields added an assist. Robert Daniels made five saves for the Tigers (12-2), while Tyler Pagley had eight for Howland. JVs: Howland 3-0.

NORTH BLOOMFIELD

Troy Elsea had two goals and two assists for Badger (15-0-1, 11-0-1 Northeastern Athletic Conference). Greg Foust, Allen Willey, Mitchell Givens and Vince Mazzocco also scored, Nick Fiest had two assists and Tyler Lucy made four saves. For Bloomfield (3-8-3, 3-6-2), Brandon Ruby made 18 saves.

GREENFORD

Sophomore Toni Stephenson led the Raiders (13-2) with two goals off assists from senior Emily Meals and junior Ellen Downie. Senior Kelli Johnston and junior Abbey Ausnehmer also scored goals off Meals assists and freshman Taylor Hassay had two saves. For the Irish, junior Briana Curd scored a goal and had two saves.

Newton Falls 3, Garfield 2

NEWTON FALLS

Shannon Montgomery, Brooke Rodgers and Jennifer Bjelec scored the goals and Angela Giuliano had an assist for the Tigers (11-3-1). Goalkeepers Alexis Mitchell and Jessica Radcliffe combined for 10 saves. Samantha Wilson and Jackie Tabor scored for the G-Men (7-7-2). Laura Fanicky made 11 saves.

Grove City 4, Kennedy Catholic

GROVE CITY, PA.

Aubri McCoy had three goals, Mariah Treiber had one and Katelyn Williams had the shutout in goal for Grove City.
