The wedding of Wendy D. Jenkins and Jason M. DeLuca took place May 22 at Trinity United Methodist Church and was followed by a reception at Sorrento’s Restaurant in Warren.

The Rev. Stephen Sparling officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of George and Nancy Jenkins of Marietta and son of Nunzio and Teresa DeLuca of Warren.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Gloucester, Mass., and live in Warren.

The bride wore an ivory A-line gown enhanced with a beaded waistline.

Michelle Crank was the honor attendant and bridesmaids were the bride’s sister Kathy Davis, and Jayne Fenton. They wore navy blue gowns. Meredith DeLuca, the groom’s niece, was the flower girl.

The duties of best man were performed by Brian Taylor, and groomsmen were the groom’s brothers, Tony, Steve and Joe DeLuca. The groom’s son, Michael DeLuca, was the ring bearer.

The bride graduated from Ohio University and Ohio State University. She earned a doctor of veterinary medicine degree and is a veterinarian with Town and Country Veterinary Hospital in Warren.

The groom is a firefighter/paramedic with Liberty Township Fire Department. He graduated from the Howland Training Center, Institute for Prehospital Care.
