Rockdale Temple was the setting at 5:30 p.m. May 30, as Sarah L. Weiss and Todd M. Schild were joined in marriage by Rabbi Sigma Faye Coran.
Parents of the bride are Cathy Bender Weiss and Gary and Ellen Weiss, all of Youngstown. Mr. Schild is a son of Rachel and Steven Schild of Cincinnati.
The newlyweds were honored at a reception at The Phoenix in Cincinnati and spent their honeymoon in St. Lucia, West Indies. They reside in Cincinnati.
Black gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Mara Chernyak; Lauren Moyer, the bride’s cousin; Lauren Alexander; Robin Schild, the groom’s sister-in-law; Sarah Grymberg; and Madeleine Miller, the bride’s niece.
Jason Schild performed the duties of best man for his twin brother, and groomsmen were Brendan O’Connor, Timothy O’Neill, Erich Henjes, Joseph Rothenberg and Patrick Richter. Ushers were Matthew and Michael Miller and Jesse Reed, all brothers of the bride.
The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Cincinnati and is executive director of the Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education in Cincinnati.
The groom holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Tufts University and a juris doctorate from the University of Louisville Law School. He is an associate with Thompson Hine in Cincinnati.
