The wedding of Jamie L. Hawn, a daughter of James and Gail Hawn of Youngstown, and James P. Himes II, a son of James and Lisa Himes of Canfield, was an event of June 12. The couple were united in marriage during a 1:30 p,m. ceremony at the grand pavilion gazebo at Julia’s Bed and Breakfast.

Following a reception at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center in Youngstown, the newlyweds left for a honeymoon at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. They live in Austintown.

The bride’s beaded lace gown was designed with sheer straps, a V-neckline and a tiered skirt trimmed with lace and extending into a chapel train.

Wearing cobalt blue gowns were Gabrielle Shives, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Lindsey Hawn, a sister of the bride; Dawn George; and Sherry Kraft.

The duties of best man were performed by Randy Grimm, and groomsmen were Michael Gallner, Brian Brancaccio and Matt Bezzarro.

Mrs. Himes graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse with Forum Health Northside Medical Center, Youngstown.

Mr. Himes is a salesman with Fairway Ford in Canfield.
