Giuliani campaigns for Fiorina in Southern Calif.

WESTMINSTER, Calif. (AP) — Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani will campaign for U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina in Southern California as part of a West Coast visit to back Republicans in tough races.

Giuliani is scheduled to appear today with Fiorina and congressional candidate Van Tran in the Little Saigon section of Westminster. The area is in the heart of the Vietnamese community in a traditionally conservative Orange County.

On Sunday, Giuliani appeared with California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman in Los Angeles. She’s locked in a tight race with California Attorney General Jerry Brown.

Giuliani lost the GOP presidential primary two years ago and is campaigning this week on behalf of candidates in several Western states.
