Cornerstone dinner to be time for thanks

YOUNGSTOWN

Beatitude House will sponsor an annual Cornerstone Dinner on Sunday at St. Michael Parish Hall, N. Broad Street, Canfield, as a means of thanking individuals, businesses, foundations and congregations for supporting its mission of providing help for disadvantaged women and children.

Donors will have an opportunity to meet some of the women and to hear their stories firsthand. Women and children in the program also will be recognized for their many achievements.

The Ambassador Award and the Sister Margaret Scheetz Achievement Award will be given to women who have overcome hardships and transformed their lives.
