Biden to stump for 3 Pa. congressional incumbents
DICKSON CITY, Pa. (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden is heading to Pennsylvania to campaign for a trio of Democratic incumbents facing election challenges.
Biden is scheduled to attend an event in Dickson City for Rep. Chris Carney this morning. Carney is facing former U.S. Attorney Tom Marino in northeastern Pennsylvania’s 10th District.
In the afternoon, Biden is scheduled to attend events for Kathy Dahlkemper and Mark Critz in western Pennsylvania. Dahlkemper faces car dealer Mike Kelly in the 3rd, which covers northwestern Pennsylvania, including parts of Mercer County. Critz is facing businessman Tim Burns, who he beat in a special election in May to finish the term of Democrat John Murtha, who died in February.
Biden is also scheduled to attend an event for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dan Onorato before returning to Washington.
