Nick Libeg and his bride, the former Ashley Orr, live in Hubbard after honeymooning in St. Lucia. They were married during a 1:30 p.m. ceremony May 22 in St. Patrick Church and honored afterward at a reception at Avalon Country Club in Buhl Park, Hermitage, Pa.

Officiating at the wedding were the Rev. Timothy O’Neill; the Rev. Gabriel Yablonsky, an uncle of the bride, and Deacon Robert Friedman.

Bill and Mary Jo Orr of Hubbard are parents of the bride, and the groom is a son of Thomas and Shirley Libeg of Hermitage.

Swarovski crystals adorned the bride’s strapless ivory gown, and the skirt swept into a chapel train.

Lindsay Orr, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, wore a green gown, as did bridesmaids Kelly Bretz; Jenelle Eli, a cousin of the groom; Christine Libeg, his sister-in-law; Gina Haines; and Angela Scenna, the bride’s cousin.

Serving as best man was Thomas Libeg, the groom’s brother, and groomsmen were Brad Burke; Kevin Libeg, a brother of the groom; John McElhinny; Gregory Orr, the bride’s brother; and Al Vactor.

Mrs. Libeg earned a degree in early childhood education from Youngstown State University and a master’s reading specialist degree from Kent State University. She is a kindergarten teacher with the Hubbard School District.

Mr. Libeg is a secondary English teacher with Trumbull Career and Technical Center in Warren. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in English and history.
