The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 6 p.m. ceremony on July 10 as Ana Rodriguez and Jason Bolchalk were united in marriage at Gallants Channel in Beaufort.

Following a reception at the Maritime Museum in Beaufort, the couple left on a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. They live in Cary, N.C.

Bertha and Victor Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas, are parents of the bride, and the groom is a son of Diane and Jim Bolchalk of Youngstown.

The bride’s strapless white sheath gown was embellished with beaded lace and featured a small train.

Lisa Owens, the bride’s sister and honor attendant, wore a tangerine-colored gown, as did the bridesmaids, Dana Kindelberger, Heather Bickley, Jennifer Barnett, and the groom’s sister, Elissa Alexander.

The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s brother, Jeff Bolchalk, and groomsmen were Steve Kibler, Conor Keating, David Kindelberger and Kevin Williams. Ring bearer was the groom’s nephew, Quinn Bolchalk.

The bride graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in biology, and from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a master’s in teaching. She is a biology teacher with Wake County Public Schools in Cary.

The groom, a seventh-grade social studies/language arts teacher with Wake County Public Schools in Holly Springs, N.C., earned a bachelor’s degree in middle childhood education from Bowling Green State University.
