YOUNGSTOWN
Monday Musical Club, which has for 114 years brought musical programs to the Youngstown area and in the process has found a way to benefit some of the less fortunate in the Valley, is continuing that tradition by presenting Los Lonely Boys in concert.
Known for their eclectic Tejano mix of rock, blue, soul and country, Los Lonely Boys will perform at Stambaugh Auditorium at 8 p.m. Friday.
Prior to the appearance of Los Lonely Boys on stage, members of the club will take a collection for the benefit of the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley.
In the past, the generosity of audiences has made the fund raising effort successful and has provided more than $38,000 for the mission.
Tickets for the performance, which will open the Monday Musical Club’s season of entertainment, may be obtained by calling 330-743-2717.
