Psychology degree

Jill Hendrickson of Lisbon has earned her doctorate in counseling psychology at the University of Akron and has accepted a full-time position at the university’s counseling center.

Hendrickson is a 1988 graduate of Beaver Local High School. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio State University in 1992, she earned her master’s degree in counseling from Youngstown State University in 2003.

She and her husband, Ed Hendrickson, live in Lisbon. She is the daughter of Tom and Rhoda Powers of West Point.
