“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m. Sunday, WFMJ Channel 21; and 10 a.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable community access channel): Third Baptist Church is one of the oldest African-American congregations in Youngstown. Its pastor, the Rev. Dr. Morris Lee, will be feted for 50 years of service. the Rev. Mr. Lee and J.L. White will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the celebration and reminisce about the church.

New theater group offers ‘Mousetrap’

SHARPSVILLE, Pa.

The first production of ACTSharpsville, a new theater group, will be Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap.”

The play will be presented at 8 p.m. Nov. 6, 7, 12 and 13 at the Pierce Opera House, 100 N. Mercer Ave. Maria Petrella-Ackley of Sharon will direct.

Tickets are $10 and are available in advance at Sharpsville Floral, Pompa Beauty Salon and Mehler Insurance; or online at sharpsvillehistorical.com. Tickets also will be sold at the door if available.

“The Mousetrap” is being produced in conjunction with the Sharpsville Historical Society.
