Pet first-aid class Thursday

American Red Cross of Mahoning Valley is offering a pet first-aid class from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Boardman location, 8381 Market St.

Participants will be able to recognize animal emergencies and give appropriate emergency care until veterinary help can be provided.

Course fee is $35 and includes a handbook and CD.
