Jodi Himes is the owner of Pumpkin Patch Kids.

Family child care consists of children of different ages being cared for together. By watching and playing together, younger children learn from the older children and the older children take pride in helping the younger ones.

Family child care providers are held to high standards when they are certified with the county and state. Criminal background checks, lengthy training requirements and home inspections are examples of the higher standards placed on family child care providers.
