After-hours clinic will treat conditions needing urgent care

After-hours clinic

UPMC Horizon will begin having an after-hours clinic Oct. 18 at Womancare Center of UPMC Horizon, 875 N. Hermitage Road.

Hours are 5 to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday. The clinic will be staffed by UPMC family-medicine practitioners and will accept patients of all ages who have health issues not severe enough for the hospital emergency department but serious enough to be seen right away.

Conditions include earaches, sore throats, colds and flu.

Appointments are not required.

Many insurance plans are accepted, and office co-pays apply at the time of service.
