Abby Dornon and Juventino Soto-Pacheco Jr. were united in marriage by the Rev. Dale Crum during a 3:30 p.m. ceremony May 21 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.

The daughter of Thomas and Mary Ann Dornon of New Middletown and son of Juventino and Joyce Soto-Pacheco of Sharon, Pa., accepted congratulations during a reception at Mahoning Country Club in Girard.

Crystals embellished the bride’s strapless tulle gown.

Black gowns were worn by Jennifer Rogers, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Kelly Ferrick; Jennifer Geiser; Nicole Danish; Sebrina Gama, a sister of the groom; and Alicia Colon, his cousin. Flower girls were Nina Soto-Pacheco, a sister of the groom, and Sofi Sandoval, his niece.

The duties of best man were performed by Chris Whalen, and groomsmen were Joshua Wareham; Travis Dornon, the bride’s brother; Robert Kelly; Saul Soto-Pacheco, the groom’s brother; and Terrence Wareham. Ring bearer was the groom’s nephew, Alexander Gama.

The bride, a public relations and communications coordinator with Ohio Utilities Protection Service in Youngstown, graduated from Youngstown State University.

The groom, a U.S. Army veteran, attended YSU and is a corrections officer with the State of Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, in Mercer, Pa.
