Warren drug raid results in arrests of 2 brothers, woman

Two brothers and a woman are facing drug and other felony charges after the Trumbull Ashtabula Law Enforcement Task Force arrested them during a raid at 840 Woodbine Avenue Southeast.
Desemen Douglas, 30, of the Woodbine address, pleaded innocent Wednesday in Warren Municipal Court to manufacture of drugs and drug possession.
Destine Douglas, 27, also of the Woodbine address, pleaded innocent to manufacture of drugs, drug possession and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Desemen Douglas, who was released from jail after posting $15,000 bond, faces up to 13 years in prison if convicted. Destine Douglas, whose bail was set at $20,000, faces up to 18 years if convicted.
Brandi McMurdy, 29, of Reo Boulevard, pleaded innocent to drug possession. She faces up to 12 months in prison if convicted. She was released from jail after posting $5,000 bond.
The 9:30 p.m. raid Tuesday recovered marijuana, suspected cocaine, crack cocaine, a handgun, $1,700 in cash, a police scanner, flat-screen television, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, digital scales, drug ledger, pills and $60 in counterfeit currency.
