Wellness fun day set for seniors

A Senior Wellness Fun Day has been scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. today at Shepherd of the Valley-Boardman, 7148 West Blvd.

More than 20 health-care organizations will be on hand to discuss health issues, provide free screenings and samples. There will be such services as bone density checks, vision screening, and blood pressure screenings. Flu shots will be available for a fee. Payment is limited to traditional Medicare or private pay.
