Candidates’ forum open to the public

YOUNGSTOWN

The Junior Civic League and the Community Mobilization Committee will sponsor a candidates forum at 6:30 pm. Monday at McGuffey Center, 1649 Jacobs Road.

The public is invited to meet the candidates and to hear their positions on issues that will appear on the general election ballots on Nov. 2.

Scheduled to appear are candidates for the 17th Congressional District; State Senate 33rd District; state representative for the 60th District; Mahoning County Commissioner; Mahoning County Auditor and Justice of the Supreme Court.

Susan Moorer, vice president of the Junior Civic League, will be moderator. Cynthia L. Mason is president of the league.
