Lakeview, Ridge volleyball remain perfect

Elaine Kelley and Laura Ogram each had eight kills and helped to ensure the Lakeview volleyball team remained perfect.
The Bulldogs (17-0) swept Howland in three sets by the scores of 25-16, 25-21, 25-21 to remain unbeaten. Kelly Musick had eight points and four aces, while Angela Farone had nine points.
For the Tigers, Nia Grant had three aces and eight kills, while teammate Halle Oatridge had 11 points. JVs: Lakeview 25-19, 25-21.

The Rams were able to outlast the Clippers after losing a marathon first match to remain unbeaten.
Lea Whitmer had 22 points and four aces for the Rams (19-0, 11-0 ITCL Tier One) and teammate Abby Riffee had 33 digs, 11 points and four aces. The Clippers (9-6, 5-6) were led by Hayley Goist’s 21 digs. Meredith Tirpak had 14 kills and Cassidy Stoddard had 16 assists.

Mariah Halleck had three aces, two blocks and 22 kills, Cassie Davidson had one ace, one block, seven kills and Laura Brown had three aces, five kills and 30 assists for Salem. Amanda Molaskey had eight points, 11 digs, 19 assists and two aces, Jenna Sliwinski had eight kills, four points, one ace and two blocks and Mackenzie Mulligan had five points, nine kills and two blocks for Poland. Marquette Gasser led the Eagles (14-4) with 32 assists, 22 points and six aces.
For the Leopards (3-13), Vakeyla Merriweather had 10 kills, Jenna Sewell collected 15 assists and nine digs while Mindy Dykes was in with five blocks.
