Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. Cost is $6.50, and containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are neces sary. For takeout orders call 330-743-3175.
THURSDAY
Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road, Poland, will serve stuffed-chicken dinners to go from 3:30 p.m. until the food is sold out. Cost of the meal is $6. Drive up to the front of the church and someone will hand you a dinner to go. No need to order or get out of your car.
St. Michael Orthodox Church, 125 Steel St., Youngstown, will serve a homemade Chinese lunch and supper from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This week’s menu will feature Shanghai chicken and five-spice beef. The cost of the meal is $5. No reservations are necessary.
Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, will sell takeout meals of stuffed chicken breast including side dishes and dessert from 4 p.m. until sold out. The cost is $7. No reservations required. Just drive through and pick up a dinner.
FRIDAY
American Legion F.D.R. Post 560, 103 12th St., Campbell, will have a fish and shrimp fry from noon to 6 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Meals include fries or macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, haluski and bread; desserts and beverages available. There will be a 50-50 raffle.
Guilford Lake Ruritan, Route 172 at Hanna Drive, will sponsor a fish fry from 4-7 p.m. The cost for the all-you-can eat dinner is $9 for adults and includes white fish, potato, coleslaw, green beans, bread, beverage and ice cream.
Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $5 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Advance sales only. Lunches will be available beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.

St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will bake Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at 330-788-0025 between 9-11:30 a.m. only. Pickup will be until 12:30 p.m. Price is $6 for regular or Brier Hill pizza, and $5 for white pizza.
St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers and use the side entrance.
United High School, 8143 state Route 9, Hanoverton, will have “Pastabilities,” an all-you-can-eat pasta dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the school cafeteria. There will be a variety of pasta and sauces. Dinners are $7 for adults and $4 for children 4 to 12.

Richard Brown Memorial United Methodist Church, 1205 Elm St., Youngstown, near Wick Park, will serve its famous Swiss steak dinner from 4-6 p.m. Dinner includes homemade Swiss steak, whipped potatoes and gravy, salad, vegetable, rolls and butter, a beverage and a variety of desserts. Tickets are $7.50 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under.

Lisbon First United Methodist Church, 114 E. Washington St., Lisbon, will serve spaghetti dinners from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $4.50 for children under 12.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church hall. Cost is $6.50 for adults and $4 for children. Carryouts will be available; containers are 50 cents or you can provide your own. The Mothers of the Crucifix Society will be selling baked goods during the dinner.
