Mentoring offered by support group

YOUNGSTOWN

One Step to Life Inc., 3610 Southern Blvd., meets from 5 to 6 p.m. each Monday and Thursday.

The life-after-prison support group provides a place where returning citizens can discuss issues they are facing, get available resources and receive one-on-one mentoring from someone who has walked in their shoes.

A Youth Council for Leaders is available for those from 10 to 21 years of age at 4 p.m. Wednesdays. The object of the council is to build leadership skills in a peer-to-peer mentoring atmosphere in partnership with Neighborhood Ministries.
