55 Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church. Hostesses Stella Modorcia and Mary Alice Seaborn will provide snacks. Members will dine out after the meeting and card games.

1418 Auxiliary Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Brownstone Court, 50 Struthers-Coitsville Road with John Texter presiding. Cancellations must be made to Sandy Redeske at 330-755-5192 by Monday, none will be accepted after that date. Birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged, and cards and bingo will be played. Ajax Magnethermic retirees will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Station Square, 4250 Belmont Ave.

Canfield AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure screening will be from noon until 12:45. Michael LaCivita, a columnist for The Vindicator, will be the speaker. He published a book, “Rag Man, Rag Man,” in 2004. He is a World War II Navy veteran. LaCivita will speak about “life in an Italian Household During the Great Depression.” A board meeting will take place at 10 a.m. Oct. 18 at the church. There still are openings on the Fallingwater/Seven Springs Autumn Fest trip on Saturday. Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Wanda Conner will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. Park Vista’s Breakfast Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 14 in the Gathering Room 1216 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. Our guest speaker will be Melissa Ames from the Better Business Bureau. Her topic will be “Don’t Become a Victim,” which will address the latest schemes to help protect you from identity theft, foreign lottery and charitable giving scams. St. Nicholas Senior Citizens will have a luncheon meeting at 11 a.m. Oct. 12 in Great Hall with Laverne Cox presiding. Steelworkers Retirees, Local Union 1330 and 1331, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at the Italian-American Veterans Centre, 113 S. Meridian Road. Refreshments will be served. Tickets will be on sale for the Dec. 6 Christmas party. New Members are welcome.

Trumbull Memorial Hospital Retiree Club will have a luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 11 at Buena Vista Cafe in Warren.
