Mass, dinner mark Rinkos’ anniversary

AUSTINTOWN

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Rinko of Austintown renewed their nuptial vows during a Mass officiated by Bishop George Murry at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were honored at a family dinner at Cafe 422 in Warren hosted by their daughters and their spouses: Kathleen and Richard Arnoto of Canfield; Theresa and Alan McCracken of New Market, Md.; and Patricia and Gary Gaca of Austintown.

Mrs. Rinko, the former Nicolette Kolesar, worked for the DeBartolo Corp. in the Boardman Plaza as a secretary before retiring in 2001.

Mr. Rinko worked as a monitor at General Motors in Lordstown before he retired in 1999. He served in the United States Marine Corps.

The Rinko family includes seven grandchildren: Nicolette, Stephen, Victor, Alaina, Carlee, Angela and Lindsey.

The Rinkos were married on Sept. 3, 1960, at Holy Name Church in Youngstown. They are members of St. Brendan Church in Youngstown.
