Knables’ 50th is celebrated at Oct. 2 party

AUSTINTOWN

Invitations were extended for a 50th anniversary party honoring Thomas F. and Jean Knable of Austintown.

The party took place the evening of Oct. 2 at the American Legion Hall in Youngstown.

Hosts of the party were the couple’s children and their spouses, Lisa and Joe Spadaford of Austintown, and Tami and Jeff Johnston of North Lima. There are six grandchildren in the family.

Mr. Knable and the former Jean Jones were married Oct. 15, 1960.

They are members of the Church of Christ in Mineral Ridge.

Mrs. Knable belongs to Women Working for Christ. Mr. Knable retired from McDonald Steel in McDonald. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
