Expect delays on I-79 this week

OIL CITY, Pa.

I-79 northbound over I-80 and southbound over I-80, near mile market 116.5, will have a lane restriction through Friday because of roadwork, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says.

The right shoulders on I-80 near I-79, both eastbound and westbound, also will be closed for bridge work.

Motorists should expect congestion and delays as traffic slows. Message boards will be placed to alert motorists approaching the work zones, PennDot said in a press release.
