Garden show winners announced by Forum

YOUNGSTOWN

Elsie DeHoff, Rose Marie Roth, Mary Lou Flere and Ann Ellis served as judges for the garden and horticulture show sponsored by the Garden Forum of Greater Youngstown on Sept. 18 and 19 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.

The judges awarded blue ribbons in garden and horticulture to the following:

Rosemary Fuller, Martha Murphy, Linda Vuletich, Sheila Bowman and Dianna Mullins, of Nature Lovers.

Pearl Marlos and Roth, Gleaners.

Dorothy Haddox, Our Lady of Fatima.

M. Ferguson, Leaf and Blossom.

Beverly Patrick, Ikebana.

George Guju, Lynn Hoffman, Rex Luckage, Stan Vuletich and Bill MacPherson, Mens Garden Club.

Peggy Potts, Johnny Appleseed.

Ann Kwiecien and Cindy Salerno, Member at Large.

Fran Ameduri, Patricia Troll, Harry Potts, John Salerno, Harry Haddox, Tom Airhart and Bill Black, Public.

Blue ribbons in the design category went to Marlos of Gleaners, Dan Burns of Men’s Garden Club and Esther Bertch of Nature Lovers.

Taking special awards in horticulture were Rosie Fuller, George Guju and Marlos.
