Consultant party will be benefit event
CANFIELD
The Welcome Wagon Club of Canfield will sponsor a Home Consultant Party from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Great Room at the Old North Church of Canfield, 7105 Herbert Road.
Participating in the shopping event are the following consultants: BeautiControl, Blessings Unlimited, CAbi, Canfield Wood Folk Designs, Celebrating Home, Just Sayin’, Onesole, Pampered Chef, Pamper Me First, Party Lite, Princess House, Scentsy, Signature Homestyles, Silpada Designs Jewelry and Tastefully Simple.
There will be refreshments and door prizes, and proceeds will benefit local charities.

Spare-change pool will benefit charity
CLEVELAND
Elementary, middle and high school students from northern Ohio donated their spare change to support Olive Garden’s 16th annual Pasta for Pennies program to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
During three-week periods throughout the school year, students collect pocket change to fill collection jars in their classrooms. The class collecting the most money at each school received a pasta party. Among the top fundraising schools in northern Ohio was the Roosevelt Elementary School in Hubbard, which contributed $7,913 to benefit the society.
