Stadium Drive hosts tailgate party

Neighbors | Shaiyla Hakeem .Boardman High School cheerleaders joined the festivities at Stadium Drive Sept. 24 by attending its annual tailgate party.
Stadium Drive Elementary was decked out in maroon and white Sept. 24 as the school hosted its annual tailgate party for students and Boardman Spartan enthusiasts.
Hot dogs, cookies and chips were served as refreshments and music was provided by Boardman resident Dean Congemi’s DJ service, Gem Productions.
Themed baskets ranging from holidays and board games to sports teams and pet toys were raffled off during the event.
Students wore their favorite Spartan gear and got their faces painted in Boardman colors to show their school spirit. The pep band and high school cheerleaders showed up to march with the students over to Spartan Stadium to watch the varsity football game.
The event was sponsored by Stadium Drive PTA and the proceeds go to support of future PTA events.
