Peace Award Banquet scheduled this month

YOUNGSTOWN

The Mahoning Valley Task Force on crime and Violence Prevention will have its 14th annual Peace Award Banquet at 6 p.m. Oct. 18 at Mt. Caramel Parish Hall in Youngstown. The keynote speaker is Mary Jane Trapp, administrative judge on the Ohio Eleventh District Court of Appeals.

The dinner is held annually to recognize individuals and agencies who have worked to reduce crime and improve the quality of life in the Mahoning Valley. Seven citizens and organizations will be honored with awards. Tickets for the banquet are $25.
