Nude man killed

YOUNGSTOWN

Police have identified the man killed, but are still investigating a traffic accident and calling it “strange.” John J. Curtis, 48, of Warren, was killed when his Oldsmobile hit the side of a building at Logan Avenue and Tod Lane at 3 a.m. Thursday. Police say Curtis was traveling at high speed, went through a stop sign and hit the building.

According to Patricia Garcar of the Youngstown Police Department’s traffic division, Curtis was nude at the time he was found behind the wheel. She said police know speed was a factor in the accident but believe something more was going on because of Curtis’ lack of clothing.
