GARDEN CLUBS | This week's meetings announced

WEDNESDAY

Daphne will install officers at the home of Joyce Patterson. The executive board will be the host group.

Mahoning will have a Guest Day luncheon at noon at Tippecanoe Country Club, 5870 Tippecanoe Road with Joanne Ziemianski and Barbara Wigle as hostesses. A program on “Davy Crockett’s Hat” will be presented by Shirley Griffin.

THURSDAY

St. Charles will have a Christmas party, dinner and white elephant gift exchange at Caff Capri. The social will be at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6:30.

Sweetbriar will decorate the library. Hostess will be Diane Lane.

FRIDAY

Nature Lovers will have a Christmas luncheon at 1 p.m. Members will be notified of details by the committee.

UPCOMING

St. Michael’s Garden Guild Christmas dinner and installation of officers will take place Dec. 7 at Drake’s Landing. Barbara Spenser will conduct the installation. The buffet dinner will be at 6 p.m. The cost is $22. Send a check made out to St. Michael’s Garden Guild to Pat Hoyle by Tuesday.

Garden club events are published Sunday. The deadline is noon Thursday.
