Shelby Mashburn, daughter of Deborah Mashburn of Austintown and the late Donald Mashburn, and John-Michael Williford, son of David and Eleanor Williford, also of Austintown, exchanged marriage vows at 1 p.m. July 9 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church.

The Rev. Rebecca Ritchie officiated, and a reception took place at Avion on the Water.

The bride wore an ivory organza gown embellished with lace motifs and featuring a corset back, A-line skirt and chapel train trimmed with ruched bands of organza.

Her sister, Becky Webster, was matron of honor. She wore a cornflower-blue gown. Wearing clover-colored gowns were the bridesmaids, Kaila Kovac, the bride’s cousin; Heather Zueosky; Erika Webber; and Kalyn Suplichy. Flower girl was Elizabeth Elder.

Brian Ramunno was best man, and groomsmen were Michael Jurcak; Scott Edington; Tim Webster, the bride’s brother-in-law; and Matthew Carach. The bride’s nephew, Jacob Webster, was ring bearer.

The bride graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in education in integrated language arts. She is an English teacher with the Baltimore City Public Schools at Reginald F. Lewis High School in Baltimore.

Mr. Williford is pursuing a doctorate in biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

The couple traveled to St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, for their honeymoon. They live in Baltimore.
