Holiday Showcase at Eastwood art gallery Dec. 18-19

The Art Outreach Gallery in Eastwood Mall will host its first Holiday Showcase, a youth fine and performing arts fest, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 18 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Eastwood Expo Center.

Included are dance routines, dramatic interpretations, choral and instrumental music productions and headliner acts. Viewing areas will showcase student artistic demonstrations. Visual artists of all mediums will display, demonstrate and sell their artwork.

Performances will be given by the Boardman High School Jazz Band I and 2, Niles McKinley High School Band, Ohio State University jazz students, the R.E.D.S.Tuba quartet from Youngstown State University, Niles McKinley Middle School base guitarist student Katelin Deutsch, James Dance and Performing Art Center, Ballet Western Reserve, the Youngstown Connection, students from the Kent State fashion design and more.

Students and graduates from Youngstown State University, Columbus College of Art and Design, Kent State University, La Roche College, Trumbull Career and Technical Center, Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, Niles McKinley High School and Middle School, Boardman Middle School, East Liverpool High School, John F. Kennedy High School, Home School and the Jewish Community Center will offer artwork for sale.

Butler Institute of American Art posters also will be for sale.
