Bluffton bounces Hiram, 71-60

Will Pope’s 22 points and 12 rebounds on Wednesday led the Bluffton College men’s basketball team to a 71-60 win over Hiram.

Nick Lee and Mychal Hill scored 11 points each for the Beavers (3-0).

Chris Roberts led Hiram (2-2) with 13 points. Freshman guard Aaron Stefanov was the only other Terrier in double figures with 10 points. Junior forward Chris Meyer and senior forward Babajide Eniola each grabbed a team-high six rebounds.

Bluffton won the shooting battle, converting an impressive 51.1 percent (24-of-47) of its shots to Hiram’s 36.5 percent (23-of-63) shooting from the floor.
