Santa schedules visit to Packard Museum

Santa Claus will kick off the holiday season Nov. 27 at the National Packard Museum, 1899 Mahoning Ave. NW, where he will greet youngsters from noon to 4 p.m.

The children will have an opportunity to view items from America’s nostalgic past and also the fascinating Golden Memories modular railroad exhibit presented by the museum and Western Reserve Modular Railroad Club. The railroad exhibit runs through Dec. 29.

The museum will donate all admission proceeds collected during Santa’s visit to the Warren Family Mission. In lieu of each general admission fee, the museum will accept canned goods and staple food items valued at $8 or more.

The museum is open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for those 65 and older, and $5 for children 7-12. Those under 7 are free. For more information visit www.packardmuseum.org or call 330-394-1899.
