Jessica Rees Yarter and Christopher John Naughton were united in marriage at 4 p.m. July 31 at Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church.

The Rev. William Scott officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Larry and Holly Yarter of Weirton and the son of Thomas and Karen Naughton of Canfield.

Maura DeGreen served as honor attendant, and Shane Naughton performed the duties of best man for his brother,

Other attendants were Jessica Yarter, Sandra Yarter and Casey Yarter, the bride’s sisters-in-law; Brooke Smith; Corrine Englert; Jackie Maxwell;Thomas Yarter, the bride’s brother; Victor Cruz; Steven Reynolds; Steven Zori; Thomas Ring; Christopher Doland, Colton Yarter and Dillon Yarter, nephews of the bride; and Kayleigh Cruz.

After a reception at the Serbian-American Cultural Center, the couple left for a wedding trip to Hawaii and Las Vegas. They live in Follansbee, W.Va.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. She is employed by Hancock County, W.Va., as a physical education teacher and soccer and basketball coach.

The groom graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in business and from Cleveland State University with a master’s in business administration.
