Cash for coins, collectibles

Mahoning Valley residents could receive instant cash for their coins and collectibles when Ohio Valley Refinery and Roadshow comes to town next week.

The Roadshow will set up shop at the Quality Inn, 4055 Belmont Ave., from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Dec. 3, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4. Admission is free.

About $300,000 is expected to be distributed to local residents for antiquities, collectibles, paper currency, gold and silver items and coins, vintage jewelry, war memorabilia, musical instruments and toys made prior to 1965. Experts will analyze items and could make an offer for them. The Roadshow will also buy all types of gold, silver and platinum.
