25 protesters charged

Twenty-five protesters were arrested on criminal- trespass charges at Ohio State University in a demonstration against food-services company Sodexo Inc., authorities said Tuesday.

The protesters blocked a stairway Monday at the student union, OSU police Chief Paul Denton said.

Food-services workers and students protested human-rights abuses and retaliation by Sodexo over unionization efforts, said Laurie Crouch, a spokeswoman for Service Employees International Union.
