A checklist of local, state and federal institutions and local businesses closed various days. Residents of communities not listed should check their governmental office schedules.

City offices: Youngstown, Salem City Hall, closed Thursday; Warren, Niles, Salem Mayor’s office, New Castle, Newton Falls Municipal Court, closed Thursday and Friday; Sharon, closed Thursday, Friday and Monday.

County offices: Mahoning, Columbiana, closed Thursday; Trumbull, Mercer, Lawrence, One-Stop Workforce Centers of Mahoning and Columbiana counties and satellite at Oak-hill, Mahoning and Columbiana Training Association offices in Youngstown and Columbiana, closed Thursday and Friday; Mahoning County Veterans Service Commission, closed 4 p.m. Wednesday, reopens 8 a.m. Monday.

All state offices: closed Thursday.

Federal offices: U.S. Post Office, Youngstown, Warren, closed Thursday; Federal Bankruptcy Court, District Court, closed Thursday and Friday.

Schools: Youngstown, Niles, Salem, closed Wednesday through Friday; Warren, closed Thursday and Friday; Sharon, closed Thursday through Monday; New Castle, closed Wednesday through Monday; Youngstown Diocese, all closed Thursday and Friday; please check with individual schools.

Universities: Youngstown State, closed Thursday and Friday; Kent State Trumbull Campus, closed noon Wednesday through Sunday.

Western Reserve Transit Authority: closed Thursday.

Public libraries: Youngstown-Mahoning County, McKinley Memorial Library, closed Thursday; Warren-Trumbull, including main, Brookfield, Cortland, Howland and Liberty, homebound and bookmobile services, closed 6 p.m. Wednesday and all day Thursday; Lordstown, closed Wednesday and Thursday; Kinsman Free Public Library, Bristol Public Library, Hubbard Public Library, closed Thursday and Friday; Girard Free Library, Newton Falls Public Library, closed 5 p.m. Wednesday through Thursday.

Stock market: Stifel Nicolaus, closed Thursday and at 1 p.m. Friday.

Banks: Chase Bank, Charter One, Cortland Banks, Farmers National Bank, First National Bank, First Place Bank, Warren, Home Federal Savings & Loan, Niles, Home Savings & Loan, Huntington Bank, Key Bank, PNC Ohio, PNC Pennsylvania, US Bank in Poland, Boardman, Canfield and Warren area, closed Thursday.

Trash collection: Allison Brothers Inc., Allied Waste, Warren City Environmental Services, Waste-Tech Services, Ohio Valley Waste, closed Thursday, service delayed Thursday and Friday; Waste Management, closed Thursday, service delayed one day.
