The Trumbull Soil and Water Conservation District will celebrate World Soil Day by screening the movie “Dirt!” at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Trumbull County Agriculture and Family Education Center, 520 W. Main St.

World Soil Day was established in 2002 by the International Union of Soil Sciences. “Dirt!” teaches about the environmental, economic, social and political impact that soil has.

It tells the story of Earth’s most valuable and under-appreciated fertility source.

It is narrated by actress Jaime Lee Curtis.
