Man charged in 4 Boston killings held without bail

BOSTON (AP) — A man has been arraigned on murder and other charges in the shooting deaths of four people, including a 2-year-old boy and his mother, in Boston.

In a courtroom packed with relatives of the victims, not guilty pleas were entered Tuesday for 33-year-old Dwayne Moore. He was ordered held without bail.

Prosecutor Edmond Zabin says Moore used to live with Simba Martin, one of the victims of September attack, and knew that Martin kept drugs and cash at the address.

Zabin says Moore and another suspect robbed the home in the city’s Mattapan neighborhood and later “marched” the victims up a street where they were shot.

Moore’s court-appointed lawyer says his client “vehemently denies” the allegations.

Moore was released from prison earlier this year after serving 10 to 15 years for manslaughter.
