Drive to benefit township residents

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP

Springfield Township Fire and EMS Auxiliaries and Associations are collecting toys and nonperishable food to benefit Springfield Township Council of Churches and the Community Christmas Basket Program.

The goal is for neighbors to help neighbors. Help often comes in a variety of ways and can be in the form of aid for electricity and heating bills, food and school supplies.

Donations will be accepted from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. each Monday until Dec. 6 at each of the township’s three fire stations.

Monetary donations may be deposited at any Huntington Bank or mailed to STCCC, c/o Zion Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 434, New Middletown, OH 44442. Checks should be made payable to STCCC. For more information contact Carol Landis, 330-549-0051.
