Ribbon-cutting ceremony set for Hazel Street extension

YOUNGSTOWN

The city and Youngstown State University will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Dec. 6 on the Hazel Street extension project. The $1.2 million project provides a link between downtown and Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business Administration.

The ceremony will be on the extension between Wood Street and Rayen Avenue, adjacent to the business college.

Those expected to speak include Mayor Jay Williams and YSU President Cynthia Anderson.
