YOUNGSTOWN

The Victorian Players building, 702 Mahoning Ave., was damaged during an accident about 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Police said a white vehicle was traveling east on Mahoning toward downtown when a pickup truck headed in the opposite direction did a U-turn and followed the car. The other vehicle stopped, went into reverse and then hit the Victorian Players building.

Christmas in Village

McDONALD

The 29th annual Christmas in the Village festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, ending at 9 p.m. near the Ramsay Pavilion across from Village Hall. The tree-lighting ceremony will be followed by Santa’s arrival, after which there will be free hayrides and caroling to village residents who are unable to attend the festivities. Children will have many activities to enjoy, including a visit with Santa, making reindeer food, coloring, crafts and face-painting. Refreshments will be provided from 7 to 9 p.m., and the bonfire will be lit. All activities are free.
